Brian Jackson - President & CEO

Brian Jackson - President & CEO

Brian has been serving seniors since 1996. As a Deputy Sheriff, he found himself going on welfare check calls for seniors and staying several hours to socialize with them just to be sure that they were okay. Those experiences led him to start South Bay Senior Solutions Inc. in Santa Clara County California. That company started with him opening Home Instead Senior Care and evolved into the creation of The Aging Resource Center to bring senior resources to an underserved rural community.  The center was a focal point for aging services in the area offering solutions for durable medical products, medication management, Home Safety equipment, housing, in home care, assistance with finding community resources, and community education on aging issues.

With his 23+ years of experience working with seniors, Brian has developed a keen understanding of the challenges seniors and their families face every day and the many options available for addressing those challenges. He enjoys bringing his knowledge to the Olympic Peninsula to improve how people age. The vision Statement for his company is "Leading Our Communities In Successful Aging by Enhancing The Lives of Those We Serve"

He has previously served on multiple boards including, The Shipley Center, The Sequim Sunrise Rotary Club, Information & Assistance of Santa Clara County, and is the Current President of The Sequim Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Trina Jackson - Vice President/ CFO

Trina has a true love of providing care for seniors. In college, she used to volunteer with seniors to teach art classes. She loved seeing how much joy she could bring into their lives.

In her days at the Public Guardians office, she saw some of the more difficult situations that can come up when people are dealing with the aging process. She strives to make a difference in the lives of all of the seniors she comes in contact with.

Trina oversees all office operations. Her goal is to ensure that everything is running as smoothly as possible for our clients and their family members. ​


Laura Mary Christenson - Director of Client Care

Laura Mary visits with new clients and family members to perform a needs assessment and recommend a customized plan of care. After the client is established and the plan of care is being implemented Laura Mary does perform follow-up evaluations to ensure our high quality of care standards are being met. Laura Mary has a degree in Psychology and has worked as both a parent educator and parent coach. Before moving to the Olympic Peninsula Laura Mary spent 20 years in Switzerland, where she taught ESL for all ages and taught a French/English kindergarten class and also worked as a family counselor.​​ Laura can be reached directly at: laura.christenson@homeinstead.com


Jaimey Quinonez - Service Manager

Jaimey joined our team after working in the hospitality industry and holds a degree in hospitality and ecotourism. She began her home care career as a second generation caregiver and eventually took care of her mother and grandparents through their hospice care. Her patience and sincere care she has for ensuring that our clients and CAREgivers are matched correctly really shows. Melinda Bishop - Service Manager (contracts)

​After working for another home care company for 9 years, Melinda began working with Home Instead Senior Care this year. She uses her degree in administrative assistance as well as her caring demeanor and heart for helping others to manage matching our clients to their caregivers in what she likes to call "scheduling tetris" making sure that everything fits in perfectly. Renee Rux - Home Care Consultant

Renee comes to us from many years of caring for people in the hospitality industry. She is used to managing resort properties and building relationships in communities. Renee works on outreach to our community helping to consult with Health Care Providers and people seeking help to improve the aging process and develop succesful aging plans to meet each persons specific needs and desired outcomes. Kim Cleary - Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Kim's job as the Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator is to recruit, screen, hire, train, and engage a staff of CAREgivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients. Kim can be reached directly at kim.cleary@homeinstead.com.


Kimberly Jackson - Engagement Coordinator

​Kimberly is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. She is passionate about working with older adults because she grew up volunteering at Home Instead sponsored events such as The Walk to End Alzheimer's and Be a Santa to a Senior as well as having the privelage of growing up with her grandparents living in the same house.  She will be completing her degree with a 6 month internship on the Olympic Peninsula working at an adult day center. Trisha Rodgers - Office Coordinator

​Working in customer service for 12 years prior to joining the team here at Home Instead Senior Care, Trisha is an expert at making sure everyone is content and managing any situation she meets with compassion and a smile. As the Office Coordinator, she handles billing and payroll as well as setting up care consultations and managing the overall calendar. Ashley Travis - CAREGiver Supervisor

Ashley started with us as a CAREGiver and quickly moved her way up. Her knowledge from working as a Certified Nursing Assistant gives her the ability to ensure that our team has the support they need in the field.
