Chris and Cheri Irons have been in the business of caring as owners of Home Instead Senior Care in north Indianapolis since September 1996. They were drawn to the profession by their compassion for people.
"We wanted to do something that made a difference," said Chris. "We also had personal experience caring for a family member that made us realize how critical in-home assistance is."  
The need is clear as the business continues to thrive. Chris and Cheri opened a second office in Lafayette in 2006 and a third in Noblesville in 2008.
"The rewards in this business are immeasurable," he said. "We truly have an amazing group of dedicated caregivers who are changing the lives of their clients every day by helping them remain in their homes." 

Moira McCallin, Operations Manager

Moira McCallin, Operations Manager

Moira worked as a registered nurse in the United Kingdom for 24 years before moving to the USA in 2004.

With aging parents in Ireland, Moira is very aware of the challenges of living a distance away from family.

In the last 18 months of her dad's life, Moira learned firsthand the value of reliable caregivers coming into her parents' home.

Moira has worked with Home Instead since 2009, starting as a CAREGiver and moving on to be the Operations Manager.

​Jill approaches her job with heart and is proud to work beside a staff that does the same. “I’m thrilled that we can provide relief to families struggling with the stresses of CAREGiving,” said Jill, who has years of experience as a social worker and case manager. Jill has been with the Home Instead team since July 2001.

Michael Newcomb, Technology Coordinator

Michael Newcomb, Technology Coordinator

​Michael is the Technology Coordinator for the Lafayette Indiana Franchise. In addition to working part-time at Home Instead, he enjoys designing websites, building computers, and working on various IT projects. He attends Ivy Tech for Informatics and hopes to create his own business one day. He enjoys teamwork, having a good laugh, and problem-solving. His favorite part about working with Home Instead is finding ways to implement the latest technology into everyday life. You’ll often find him in the office working behind the scenes to ensure that the computers, phones, and devices are all working correctly. He is very flexible and enjoys helping the admin staff off-hours in any way that he can. He looks forward to seeing what the future holds with Home Instead and is grateful for the opportunity to be apart of all that it has become. 


Anna Irons, Engagement Coordinator

Anna Irons, Engagement Coordinator

​Anna Irons is the Engagement Coordinator for the Noblesville, Indiana Franchise. Prior to joining the Home Instead Senior Care team in the fall of 2017, Anna enjoyed being a team member at the Lafayette Chick-fil-A. With her time there, she learned many important and valuable life skills that she continues to implement at Home Instead. Among them being compassion, teamwork, and living out the Golden Rule. Her favorite part about working with Home Instead is being able to impact the lives of older adults and their families for the better. Her favorite quote is, “When there is no love, pour love in and you will pull love out.” Anna believes that no matter how small an act of kindness may be, it can have a big impact on anyone. Anna is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of all of the amazing things that Home Instead is doing and hopes to continue her career for a long time to come.

Kayla Jones, On-Call Supervisor

​Kayla joined the Home Instead team in December 2016. Kayla has a lot of experience in customer service and human resources. My passion is helping others, especially seniors. I am able to put my heart and soul into making someone's day better and brighter. My personal experience caring for family members has given me the passion and caring nature that I have today. I love to make an impact on a new friend or family members life by helping them maintain independence. My best friend is 83. I want her day to be easier by assisting or shadowing to avoid injuries. I have learned many valuable life lessons from her while weeding the garden.
