A Passion for Serving Seniors and their Families

Blair & Anthony established the Goodyear, AZ office of Home Instead Senior Care in 2018. What began with the heartfelt desire to serve the needs of our community's elderly adults evolved to be so much more. These local owners continue to be amazed at how much their services have impacted not only the lives of the senior clients, but those of the seniors' extended families.

Blair & Anthony saw the need for a local home care provider serving the South West Valley; families and CAREGivers wanted to keep it local. Many providers say they cover areas like Buckeye, AZ but in reality cannot provide local, consistent care. Blair’s father has been at Luke AFB since 1999. Her desire to be closer to him brought her and the family to this beautiful area.

Blair & Anthony have also discovered how vital the companionship aspect of the service is. In fact, the caregiver-client relationship has proven to be a key catalyst in overcoming seniors' fears associated with someone new coming into their lives and offering them help. A successful relationship helps maintain both the dignity and independence of the client. At Home Instead Senior Care, we put relationships first and work as a team with our clients, their family members, friends, guardians, and our CAREGivers, to find the right solutions.

We recognize how families often struggle to cope with the demands of a busy job, raising children, maintaining homes, and caring for aging parents. Family members often run out of hours in the day and the physical and emotional resources to cope. If Home Instead Senior Care can fill some of these gaps and help restore balance, families can spend more time together and less time on crisis management and chores.

Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!

That’s why, to us, senior care is personal. We’re passionate about expanding the world’s capacity to care.
