Isabel’s Early Excellence Merits Care Pro of Month Honor

Isabel Soto was no newcomer to professional senior care when she joined Home Instead® of San Angelo, Texas, in April 2026 because she had worked at a skilled care community that included experience in a memory-care unit. During four short months with Home Instead, Isabel’s excellence was clearly evident to clients, their families and the office staff. As a result, she was honored as the award-winning Home Instead franchise’s Care Professional of the Month for July.

Home Instead Recruitment and Engagement Advisor Rozephyr Jean said: “Isabel quickly became a valued member of our Care Professional team. She is truly beloved by her clients, a testament to the compassion, dedication and exceptional care she provides each day.”

Noting that Home Instead’s guiding principles are “Build Trust, Take the Lead and Share Your Heart,” Rozephyr added: “Isabel consistently goes above and beyond to meet her clients’ needs, often rearranging her personal schedule to ensure her clients receive the care they deserve and that all assigned tasks are completed.”

Rozephyr pointed out: “Isabel’s selflessness, reliability and commitment to excellence have made a meaningful impact on both her clients and the Home Instead team. She has undoubtedly established herself as an outstanding Care Professional, and we are grateful to have her as part of the Home Instead family.”

Isabel was looking around for a new workplace because she was leaving her former nursing-home job. Isabel explained: “I needed a change of scenery. What I love about my new job at Home Instead are my managers and co-workers, the whole environment. They’re so understanding and considerate, always on hand and available when communication is needed. This was definitely a good change for me.”

Before entering professional senior care, many men and women will have received their first taste of caregiving within their own family structure. When asked if that was the case for her, Isabel noted it was both “a no and a yes.” She explained: “I have grandparents, but they were all so very young when I was growing up, younger than most grandparents are when kids are in middle school and high school. I was very fortunate to be able to grow up with my grandparents and did not lose any of them to death. The only thing I’ve ever had to deal with at a young age is helping a grandparent with diabetes care. It runs in my family, and I had to help my grandma with it during the summers when I would spend time with her as a kid.”

Isabel is ready to make memories with Home Instead during her work journey. “I’m not sure if I have an overwhelmingly favorite story yet about a Home Instead client,” she said. “I do have a favorite resident story from my former nursing-home job. Despite my resident’s memory challenges that I totally understand, it was amazing and always made my heart melt when she remembered me every time she saw me.”
