For local seniors and anyone looking to pick up a fun new skill, Home Instead spotted an upcoming cooking class that'll teach you the steps to make and preserve your own delicious salsa!
The Tift County UGA Extension is hosting a Salsa Canning Class on Thursday, July 23rd from 5:30 to 8:30pm in the Conger LP Gas Demonstration Kitchen, 146 Ridge Ave S. No prior canning experience is required to participate. Best of all, you get to take home a jar of the salsa you make from scratch. Space is limited to just 18 participants, and the $30 registration fee covers all the kitchen supplies you will need.
