Home Instead spotted an upcoming local event, and we want to share the details so you can mark your calendars and save a spot for yourself.
Pebble Hill Plantation is hosting author Beth Yarbrough for her presentation called Saving What Matters on Saturday, September 12th at 10am, at their Learning Center, 1251 US-319. Yarbrough will discuss her new guide on historic preservation, which focuses on empowering regular joes like you and me to protect and preserve local history.
After the presentation, there will be a quick Q&A and book signing, then you can join a guided walking tour highlighting several preservation projects across the plantation. Representatives from Thomasville Landmarks will walk along with the group, offering expert insight into local preservation efforts.
