On Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 9am to 4:30pm, the Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library, 111 W Ocean View Ave, will host the 2026 Coastal Virginia Genealogy Conference. It'll be a deep dive into the past, researching African American ancestors, scanning family photos, and learning the best ways to preserve family papers for generations!
The conference is free, but because space is limited to the first 100 participants, you’ll want to make sure you Register Online as soon as possible!
