Crisp autumn evenings make it the perfect time to slow down, get creative, and chat with friendly neighbors. Gathering with locals to work on handiwork while sipping hot chocolate is a relaxing, comfortable outing for seniors. Home Instead is excited to highlight a cozy, bimonthly event at the library where local makers can connect and unwind!
Craft & Cocoa takes place on Tuesday, October 27th from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the North Quincy Branch - Thomas Crane Public Library, 381 Hancock Street. Every other fourth Tuesday of the month, this free program invites crafters of all skill levels to bring a project they are working on and create alongside fellow enthusiasts. Hot cocoa and basic supplies like scissors and pencils are provided thanks to the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library, so all you need to bring are your main project materials and your favorite creative ideas.
As we strive to provide the best home care in Quincy, MA, we love pointing older adults and their families toward local events that spark social connection and support senior-friendly hobbies. Grab your current crafting project, bring a friend or caregiver, and drop by for a cozy evening!
