If you stopped by our office recently, you might have caught the scent of cinnamon and the sound of classic holiday movies. At Home Instead, we know the gift-giving season is exciting, but it’s the community coming together that makes it magical. Yesterday, we hosted our Wrap-Watch Party as a chance to prepare for the final stage of our Be a Santa to a Senior program. It was great to see so many familiar faces from our team, the local community, and Santa himself!
While we wrapped the mountain of gifts donated by our generous neighbors, we made sure to keep things festive by watching holiday favorites and chatting with community partners. As a token of our appreciation, we put together a little Holiday Simmer Pot Bag for Santa's helpers. Each bag was filled with fresh cranberries, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves they could take and simmer at home or gift to a friend.
Providing home care in the South Shore, MA, is a team effort, and we love any chance to strengthen the ties within our team. Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated a gift, or hosted a tree this year. Because of you, hundreds of older adults across the South Shore will have a gift to open this holiday season.
