Our caregiver, Meriem B., was selected as one of just ten workers across Massachusetts to share why she loves what she does. Being named one of the "Top Places to Work" is a huge honor for us at Home Instead, but hearing Meriem’s story reminds us exactly why this recognition matters, because it’s about the people who make this house a home.
Meriem has been a caregiver with Home Instead of South Shore, MA, for six years. As an immigrant from Algeria, she brought with her a cultural tradition where caring for elders is seen as an act of love and honor. When she’s not busy caring for seniors, Meriem enjoys baking, especially French pastries and cakes.
