The Home Instead of the South Shore team is so excited to have our Be a Santa to a Senior drop-off box officially set up and ready for your donations! If you’re out running errands, look for the large storage box right outside our office at 427 Washington St. It’s hard to miss, and we’ve tucked away a little thank-you gift for anyone who gives to the cause.
If you want to help us "sleigh" the holiday season and bring a smile to a senior in need, here is how you can get involved:
- Pick Up a Gift - Find one of our "Giving Trees" at local spots like Stop & Shop
- Check the Wish List - Pick an ornament with a senior's wish and purchase that item. Popular items include lap blankets, non-slip slippers, and cozy scarves.
- Head to Our Office - Drive over to 427 Washington St. Norwell, MA. You’ll see our decorated donation box waiting for you outside.
- Drop Off (and Grab a Treat!) - Place your unwrapped gift inside the box. Don’t forget to grab the little thank-you gift we’ve left for our "Secret Santas."
- Spread the Word - Snap a photo of your drop-off and share it with friends! The more Santas we have, the more joy we can deliver across the South Shore.
It is a beautiful thing to see the community come together to support local seniors.
