The holiday season is the perfect time to slow down and get creative. Here at Home Instead of Monticello, we love any opportunity to see our seniors engaged with the local arts. If you’re looking to embrace your festive side, there’s a workshop coming up that will put you in the holiday spirit!
Local artist Joy Bailey is hosting "Art in the Park" where she will teach you the art of paper quilling. You'll learn how to coil and shape thin strips of paper to create a Quilled Christmas Candle Card. This hands-on class will be on Thursday, December 11th, from 6 to 8pm, at the Bluestem Nature Center, 802 S Main St.
