Our favorite part of the holiday season is seeing the Lafayette community come together to spread joy! Recently, Home Instead kicked off our Annual Christmas Card Project, which will deliver over 2,000 handmade cards to older adults in local nursing homes and living communities across the area!
This wouldn't be possible without our amazing partners. We are proud to team up with Guardian Angel Hospice and three amazing schools: Burnett Creek, Battle Ground, and Klondike Elementary Schools. Thanks to all the students who dedicated their time and creativity, and to the staff, including Laurie, Mr. Ridenour, and Mrs. Hudson, for supporting this event! These cards with cute drawings and personal messages offer a special connection for seniors who might otherwise feel lonely during the holidays.
This project is especially important to our caregiver team. They see the impact of companionship and connection firsthand with the seniors we serve with the best home care in Lafayette, Indiana, year-round. We are proud to work with our community to ensure every older adult feels celebrated this holiday season!
