Cantonese-Speaking Caregivers Needed – $16.60–$18.50/hr
At Home Instead Oak Park, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care for seniors in our community. We are currently seeking Cantonese-speaking Caregivers to support our aging clients who feel most comfortable communicating in their native language.
What You’ll Do
- Provide companionship & conversation in Mandarin
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
- Meal preparation & light housekeeping
- Medication reminders & daily monitoring
- Alzheimer’s & dementia care support
- Transportation & errands to maintain independence
What We Look For
- Must be fluent in Cantonese(spoken)
- Kind, patient, and empathetic personality
- Good communication skills & reliability
- Strong work ethic
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Caregiving/healthcare experience preferred (training provided if not)
- Reliable transportation
- Physically able to assist with care (lifting up to 25 lbs.)
- Able to pass background, driving record, drug, and fingerprint checks
Compensation & Benefits
- $16.60–$18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
