Personal care may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, safe transfers, meals, and other daily routines. Care Pros assist with the tasks that have become difficult while encouraging the client to remain involved in what they can safely do.
Under Arkansas state requirements, Personal Care Aides complete 24 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of hands-on training supervised by a Registered Nurse. That gives the team a verified skills foundation for everyday personal support.
Non-medical home care can help people living with a serious illness or chronic condition manage daily routines and maintain quality of life at home. Depending on the care plan, support may include meals, mobility, personal routines, companionship, and communication with family.
The office also provides education on topics such as heart and stroke, arthritis, Parkinson’s, mental health in older adults, and fall-risk reduction. These topics inform support at home but do not replace services provided by licensed healthcare professionals.
The team is approved to provide in-home care services to veterans through the VA. Families can discuss available options and the support needed for personal care, companionship, daily activities, or respite.
Eligibility and payment depend on the veteran’s circumstances and program. Home Instead provides non-medical home care and works alongside the veteran’s healthcare and benefits contacts.
Specialized home care is built around the person when ordinary routines involve memory loss, serious illness, recovery, mobility changes, or several family caregivers. The Fayetteville team helps coordinate the moving pieces and creates a plan that can be reviewed as needs change.
The office’s approach is practical and team-based: communicate clearly, follow the care plan, and help the family understand what support is in place.
Care Advisors and the Care Team stay involved so families have a place to ask questions and review changes. That can reduce the burden on one adult child or spouse who is trying to coordinate care alone.
The office can also provide family caregiver education with local healthcare partners, helping families make informed decisions within Home Instead’s non-medical scope.
