Virtual Dementia Tour

Living with Dementia

Virtual Dementia Tour

Until you have walked in their shoes, you can’t truly understand what it is like to live with Alzheimer’s disease or other form of dementia. The confusion, the fear and sense of isolation can be overwhelming to those with a dementia diagnosis. Second Wind Dreams, a non-profit organization dedicated to making dreams come true for residents in nursing homes and assisted living communities, created the Virtual Dementia Tour to offer critical insight to those caring for dementia.

Home Instead Senior Care in Red Oak is pleased to offer the Virtual Dementia Tour as part of our continuing education for our CAREGivers. We believe the insight gained through this experience allows our CAREGivers to better understand the needs of their clients with dementia and how they can better serve those needs.

In addition to our CAREGivers, Home Instead Senior Care is pleased to offer the Virtual Dementia Tour to senior care professionals, family and friends of those living with dementia or anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of what living with dementia is like.

Contact us today to schedule your tour or check our Calendar of Events for upcoming tour dates.
