Tiffany is the Owner and Manager of Home Instead Senior Care.She has been with the company since it's opening in 2001. She ensures that the team
is aware of the current trends and regulations of in home care to assure
that Home Instead Senior Care is setting the standard. She also manages
our state approved Injury and Illness Prevention Program and assures
that our Staff and CAREGivers provide quality customer service at all
times. She oversees the financial processes such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, annual budgeting and business planning including advertising, insurance coverage negotiations as well as growth and development.
Ashley has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January of 2012. She loves her job and the people she works with. She really enjoys helping our clients find solutions to their problems, and gets satisfaction from being there as part of the support team for our CAREGivers. It has always brought me a great sense of joy to help others any way I can. As the Office Manager her duties in the office include payroll approval, billing oversight, HR, on call schedule, staff training and development as well as customer service. Ashley was born and raised here on the central coast and lives in Arroyo Grande. Ashley says "Everyday I learn about another resource that is available to the community from Home Instead Senior Care and I can't wait to continue to grow with the company, during my time off, I enjoy spending time with friends and family (siblings, nieces, nephews). I love reading and experiencing new things and especially spending time with my dog Tuffy!
Although Gina is fairly new to the Home Instead Senior Care
team, she has been deeply passionate about providing care for the aging
community her whole life. After Home Instead Senior Care provided care
for both of her grandparents, she saw firsthand the dedication, the integrity,
and the level of care Home Instead provided to her family, Gina knew she had to
join the team.
Gina is our Business Development Manager. She manages the strategic marketing initiatives for the
company. Gina has ten plus years of experience in business development,
partnership cultivation, corporate public relations, and marketing management.
Developing brand awareness, and driving highly focused marketing campaigns,
fuels Gina on a daily basis.
In her spare time, Gina loves spending time with her five
year old son, Austin, and her husband. Gina also enjoys volunteering for
the Boys and Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo County, and for the City of
Grover Beach. She is a certified Jazzercise instructor, enjoys running,
hiking, and is an overall dedicated fitness fanatic.
Sandra Maez was born in Exeter and moved to the Five Cities
at the age of 4. Sandra has been in the Home Care Industry for more than
23 years. One of her greatest joys is helping Seniors stay in their own
home for as long as possible because it truly makes her smile. She will be able to make this happen daily as our Client Care Coordinator, who does the intial Client Care Consult in the home, develops a comprehensive plan of care and works closely with our Service Coordinator and our full time Quality Assurance Coordintor to ensure you the best care.
Prior to working in the Home Care Industry, Sandra worked as
a Nurse’s Aid at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, and has been a massage
practitioner for 14 years. Additionally she is an Aloette Skin Care
Consultant. In 1984, Sandra received the Ken Tally Award for her
outstanding contributions to youth in the community.
Sandra’s two children, Suzi and Scott, and her four
grandchildren, Brian, Madison, Lauren, and Parker are her pride and joy as her
family is extremely important to her.
Sandra loves spending time with her family, her rescue dog,
Toby, going to concerts, gardening, reading, and walking on the beach.
Sandra is very excited to be part of the Home Instead Senior Care team as our
Client Care Coordinator where she will continue her passion and help keep aging
seniors in their home.
Lisa relocated to the Central Coast almost three years ago and started
her Home Instead career working as a CAREGiver, which she did successfully for over 1,100 hours. She has a background in medical office administration (front and back) as well as physical therapy. She worked at an Orthopedic Group with in house
Physical Therapy for 13 years. She was a Physical Therapist Aide for 5
years while in school studying kinesiology. She now holds the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator and says "I am happy to be a positive aspect in the
lives of others" and she enjoys spending time with her family doing a wide range of
outdoor activities from walks on the beach, volleyball, camping, hiking
and just enjoying the view of the this beautiful place we live in.
Katie is a central coast local with more than 5 years of Home Care experience, and serves as our training and retention coordinator. She is
tasked with handling all items relating to state licensure. She actively
maintains each CAREGiver file, ensuring each requirement for state registration is
met. Katie is also in charge of our CAREGiver meetings, as well as initial and
on-going classes, as we beleive even the most experienced members of the care team benefit from ongoing education, support and peer feedback. Home Instead Senior Care CAREGivers are Katie’s entire focus,
ensuring that happy CAREGivers make happy clients.
During her time off Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and son, making candles and soaps and other fun crafts.
Toby was born and raised in the
Santa Ynez Valley, went to SYVHS (go pirates), then moved to the central coast
in 2000. Toby is married with two children and two step children. Toby has
worked with the Home Instead team for the past year and has gone above and
beyond with every client that she was assigned to. She has completed more
than 1400 hours of care since joining the Home Instead team. Before
joining us, she worked in customer care in the insurance industry and
back office for dental labs for her entire professional career.
Toby absolutely loves the
outdoors. She loves to go camping, hiking, and fishing. She
even ties her own lures. Toby is an avid cook and she is in the middle of
writing her own cook book. Additionally, Toby is a very dedicated
motorsports fan. She named her two French Bulldogs that she is head over
heels in love with (Hayden and Nico) after two of her favorite racing legends: Nicky
Hayden and Nico Rosberg. She spends most of her time working on new
recipes or playing with her babies (the 4 legged ones).
Toby is really excited to be a
part of the Home Instead adminstative team. She is looking forward to helping our
clients with all of their scheduling needs.
Elin, Intake Specialist, joined the Home Instead Senior Care team after spending most of her life caring for both the young and old. She says one of the best things about working for Home Instead Senior Care is making a difference in quality of life for the clients it serves. She takes pride in how CAREGivers, clients and their families are treated with the dignity and respect, and enjoys watching loving relationships develop between the senior clients and their CAREGivers.
Elin and her husband of 34 years live on the Central Coast. They have three grown daughters, two sons-in-law and three grandsons. When she’s not working, Elin likes walking on the beach, bonfires and woodworking. She also enjoys gardening, making crafts and above all, spending time with her grandsons.
Vivian Abler has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2013 and has been an invaluable asset since the day she started with us. She has cared for more than 40 clients since joining our team, and in 2016 alone, Vivian has provided 1,788 hours of service to clients throughout the county. Vivian's dedication and professionalism are present in everything she does. She has cared for a wide range of clients ranging from companionship to those with specialized needs such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Hospice, and end of life care. Vivian is always willing to take extra shifts with new clients to ensure they have care right away. She was selected in June 2016 as our Caregiver of the month for going above and beyond her normal job requirements as a caregiver. She volunteered her time to work with newer caregivers to share her experience and teach those that were transitioning in their caregiving roles techniques to help them in their future success. In 2016, Vivian was there to comfort several families as their loved ones passed. Her genuinely loving and caring approach.In addition to being an immensely valuable asset to Home Instead in her caregiving role, she previously was the Program Coordinator for the Osher Senior Program at Cal Poly. For four years, she helped build the membership to 200+ seniors, giving them access to life learning programs and resources including free educational and technology courses.
A very special Congratulations to our December
CareGiver of the month, Marshalla. Mashalla has been with Home Instead since
February 2016 . Her dedication to her clients is rivaled by very few. Marshalla
truly lives "To us, It's Personal." Marshalla has worked in some challenging situations and has successfully completed our Hospice Care training. We are very thankful this Holiday
Season to have Marshalla on our CareGiving team!
A warm hearted Congratulations to our Caregiver of the
Month, Hayley! Hayley is a newer member of our Care Team but she has proven to
be a shining light in the lives of many! We are Thankful to have Ms. Hayley on
our team, and we know her client’s appreciate all of the excellent care that
A hearty congratulations to J.P., who came to us after working for Home Instead in Birmingham, Alabama for quite some
time. On his first day, he said “I want to be your go-to-guy”, and he has
certainly lived up to that statement. He has a wit and personality that cannot
be rivaled and we are so very fortunate to have him on our team.
Jolene is always wiling to lend a hand whenever it is needed. She is truly dedicated to all of her clients. Jolene is punctual, dependable and can handle any situation that is thrown at her. We are thankful to have her on our team.
Shalis has been a dedicated Caregiver since her first day. She truly takes "to us, it's personal" to heart and it shows. We are blessed to have Shalis on our team!
