Tiffany Alcantara

Tiffany Alcantara

Tiffany is the Owner and Manager of Home Instead Senior Care.She has been with the company since it's opening in 2001. She ensures that the team is aware of the current trends and regulations of in home care to assure that Home Instead Senior Care is setting the standard. She also manages our state approved Injury and Illness Prevention Program and assures that our Staff and CAREGivers provide quality customer service at all times.  She oversees the financial processes such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, annual budgeting and business planning including advertising, insurance coverage negotiations as well as growth and development.

Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and the family pets; Lucky, a 10 year old Golden Labrador, Charlie, an adorable 2 year old Dachshund and two cats; Max and Caridwen. Tiffany is an avid reader, and especially enjoys historical fiction, medical texts and home improvement.

Tiffany has more than 21 years experience working with seniors and the developmentally disabled. She is a past member of the Lucia Mar Board of Education (2010-2011) and has served as Co-Vice Chair of the San Luis Obispo Adult Services Policy Council (ASPS) and is an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs Auxillary Patrol (SAVP) program. Home instead Senior Care is also a member of the Central Coast Senior Care Alliance Network (CC-SCAN).

Carol Rose

Carol Rose

​Carol was one of the original founders of the company over 17 years ago. She retired in 2016 only to realize that she missed her work in the community. Carol once again joined the team in 2018. You will find Carol at our many community events such as the protecting seniors from fraud document shredding, the 50+ expo, Alzheimers Association walk, the Health and Welness fair and much more. In her spare time Carol enjoys creating one of a kind ceramic art cooking.


Ashley Shrode

Ashley Shrode

​Ashley has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January of 2012. She loves her job and the people she works with. She really enjoys helping our clients find solutions to their problems, and gets satisfaction from being there as part of the support team for our CAREGivers. It has always brought me a great sense of joy to help others any way I can. As the Office Manager her duties in the office include payroll approval, billing oversight, HR, on call schedule, staff training and development as well as customer service. Ashley was born and raised here on the central coast and lives in Arroyo Grande. Ashley says "Everyday I learn about another resource that is available to the community from Home Instead Senior Care and I can't wait to continue to grow with the company, during my time off, I enjoy spending time with friends and family (siblings, nieces, nephews). I love reading and experiencing new things and especially spending time with my dog Tuffy!


Sandra Maez

Sandra Maez

​Sandra Maez was born in Exeter and moved to the Five Cities at the age of 4.  Sandra has been in the Home Care Industry for more than 23 years.  One of her greatest joys is helping Seniors stay in their own home for as long as possible because it truly makes her smile. She will be able to make this happen daily as our Client Care Coordinator, who does the intial Client Care Consult in the home, develops a comprehensive plan of care and works closely with our Service Coordinator and our full time Quality Assurance Coordintor to ensure you the best care.

Prior to working in the Home Care Industry, Sandra worked as a Nurse’s Aid at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital,  and has been a massage practitioner for 14 years.  Additionally she is an Aloette Skin Care Consultant.  In 1984, Sandra received the Ken Tally Award for her outstanding contributions to youth in the community.

Sandra’s two children, Suzi and Scott, and her four grandchildren, Brian, Madison, Lauren, and Parker are her pride and joy as her family is extremely important to her.

Sandra loves spending time with her family, her rescue dog, Toby, going to concerts, gardening, reading, and walking on the beach.  Sandra is very excited to be part of the Home Instead Senior Care team as our Client Care Coordinator where she will continue her passion and help keep aging seniors in their home.


Lisa Castillo

Lisa Castillo

Lisa relocated to the Central Coast almost three years ago and started her Home Instead career working as a CAREGiver, which she did successfully for over 1,100 hours. She has a background in medical office administration (front and back) as well as physical therapy. She worked at an Orthopedic Group with in house Physical Therapy for 13 years.  She was a Physical Therapist Aide for 5 years while in school studying kinesiology. She now holds the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator and says "I am happy to be a positive aspect in the lives of others" and she enjoys spending time with her family doing a wide range of outdoor activities  from walks on the beach, volleyball, camping, hiking and just enjoying the view of the this beautiful place we live in. 


Sherri Fischer

​Sherri was born and raised in the Taft & Bakersfield area but relocated to the Central Coast with her husband and 2 children in 2007.  She has worked for Home Instead Senior Care since December 2015.  Before joining the administrative team as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator she worked over 2400 hours as a Caregiver.  Working with the Senior Community and our Caregivers who provide support to them is very important to her and she thoroughly enjoys her job.  Working in recruitment has also allowed her to share the importance of a Caregiver’s role and how appreciative we are of them.  One of her favorite things to do in her spare time is enjoy the outdoors with her family.  She feels very lucky to live life on the Central Coast and to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care.


Shalis Salinas

Shalis Salinas

Shalis was born and raised on the Central Coast. Before she became part of the Home Instead Team she worked at Harloe Elementary as an aide. Shalis started out with Home Instead as a CAREGiver, was promoted to LEAD CAREGiver in 2017 before taking her administrative position as a Service Coordinator. She has 2 boys (Elijah and Ryler). When shes not working you can probably find her at the Baseball or Soccer Fields with her family.  She loves country music, going to concerts, spending time with her family, professional baseball games (shes an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan) and she wont ever turn down a good cup of coffee. Shalis is a calm, light hearted and fun person to have as part of our team and we are so lucky to have her here to help families navigate through thier concerns and schedule appropriate CAREGivers.

Christina has been a hard working CAREGiver with Home Instead for 2 ½ years.  She is experienced to work with every type of client and has many hours of both online and in house training.  We feel very confident in the care she provides and she makes her clients feel safe and secure.  Always willing to take on a new adventures she is very outgoing with heart of gold.  We cannot thank her enough for all she does.


Angie - CAREGiver of the Month - February

Angie has been with us for almost a year and a half now and worked over 2,000 hours.  She is a very dedicated CAREGiver who is reliable, trustworthy and is willing to take on extra shifts to help out when needed.  She has reached out to take on extra training so she can know more about her clients diagnosis and ensure they get the care they need.  Angie is a very gentle and kind soul and we are so proud she is a part of our family tree here at HISC.


Alberto - CAREGiver of the Month - January

​Working with us since November 2018 Alberto has put in over 1,000 hard working hours.  He never meets a stranger and makes our clients feel safe from the minute he walks in their home.  We have gotten so many compliments on the care Alberto provides for families loved ones.  With an infectious laugh and a heart of gold you are guaranteed a positive experience when you are around Alberto.  We cannot thank him enough for all he does.

​Xuanlan has worked for Home Instead Senior Care twice for a total of 2 years.  She always has a smile on her face and brings so much joy to those around her.  She is extremely reliable and we can count on her to work with every type of client we have as she is very experienced.  Xuanlan loves being a Caregiver and when she isn’t hard at work you can find her spending time with her family.  We feel very fortunate to have such a kind soul on our team.

​Rochelle loves the Holiday’s and always finds a way of making her clients feel safe and taken care of the minute she walks in the door.  Her outgoing, confident, personable, and down to earth nature is something everyone enjoys about her.  She is very experienced in this field and constantly wants to expand her knowledge. She takes advantage of training to better understand clients and their diagnosis.  We can always count on her as she is very reliable and communicative.  We feel so lucky to have her as a member of our CAREGiver team.

Julie - CAREGiver of the Month - October Since Julie started with us a year and a half ago she has worked over 650 hours.  She gives 100% and her clients and their families are continuously happy with the care she provides.  We can always count on Julie as she is reliable and dedicated.  Any time you talk to her she is always so positive you can’t help but smile.  When she isn’t hard at work you can catch her out in nature as she loves walking, hiking, and camping.  We are forever grateful for what a wonderful CareGiver Julie is.

​Mayra has experience in Hospice Care as well as Dementia and Alzheimers Care. She delivers care with kindness and works very hard to maintain the clients dignity when they are struggling. We are so very thankful to have Mayra on our team.

​Roxanna has worked many hours with clients all over the county. She is experienced in Alzheimers and dementia care as well as most other senior home care chores. We appreciate all of Roxannas hard work and the many hours she has serves the clients in SLO County.
