Doug and Monica are Co-owners of the Lincoln Franchise of
Home Instead Senior Care. After being a “hands-on” owner for more than 14
years, he is now a “silent partner” and returned to his previous profession of
Funeral Director at a local funeral home.
Monica is privileged to have built an exceptional team to serve seniors in Lancaster, Saline and Seward Counties. Prior to being a co-owner of Home Instead Senior Care, she was an LPN, working primarily in home health since 1983. She currently has an inactive nursing license due to the great amount of time she spent at Home Instead Senior Care and couldn’t keep up the license requirements but, once a nurse, always a nurse! Over the past few years, her focus has been on refining her leadership skills and empowering her team to excel by using their strengths. Monica is a Founding Member of the John Maxwell Team of Coaches, Speakers and Trainers and enjoys fanning the flames of other people's dreams, as well as following her own!
Brooke joined Home Instead Senior Care January of 2015 as a Staffing Coordinator and has since become the Service Coordinator Manager. Brooke's degree is in Medical Administration and she has several years experience working with seniors. As Office Manager, Brooke is responsible for accounting, daily operations, and scheduling management. She has a passion for developing strong relationships with our CAREGivers and Clients and enjoys interacting with them on a daily basis. Brooke is persistent in overcoming challenges as they arise and looks forward to the variety that her position brings every day. Brooke enjoys spending time with her two boys, her family, and her friends, whether that be at the lake, one of their sporting events, or just relaxing at home!

Cynthia joined Home Instead of Lincoln, NE in October of 2017. She came on as a CAREGiver after moving back to Nebraska to be near her sons and their families. She had worked previously for Home Instead in Cheyenne, WY as their Human Resources Manager. After a year and a half as a CAREGiver, Cynthia began working as a Lead CAREGiver and then became the Human Resources Manager in April of 2020. Cynthia loves working with seniors, hearing their life experiences and also working with CAREGivers to give them the training and resources necessary to provide the most excellent care to our clients!
When not at Home Instead, she loves being with her husband, Kevin, outdoors kayaking and hiking and all things Husker football!! She enjoys going on 'explores' with her husband and visiting state historical sites as well as visiting the Nebraska State Parks!
Carly started her journey with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in December of 2017. For the next 2 years she worked alongside the HR team supporting CAREGivers and helping with other administrative and compliance responsibilities. Her dedication and passion for serving led Carly to transition in February of 2020 into the role of Client Care Coordinator! To Carly, there is no greater feeling than being blessed with a position that allows her to advocate for seniors and make meaningful connections within our community. Her number one focus is with the clients we serve and their families! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family, serving in the children’s ministry at her church, or reading a good book.
Traci joined Home Instead in August, 2015 as a
CAREGiver. At that time, she found her passion in caring for
Seniors. After working for 23 years as a X-Ray Technologist, she took an
administrative position in the office as a Client Care Coordinator where, along
with her team, ensures that our clients are receiving the BEST possible care
that they deserve and need.
Traci enjoys reading, people, and spending time with her
family-children Tyson, Regan, and husband Craig. There is nothing better
than waking up every morning knowing you can change someone’s life
forever. We are making the bad days BETTER and the good days
Staci joined Home Instead Senior Care May of 2017 as a Staffing Coordinator. She has a love for people, and strives to find the perfect match from client to CAREGiver. Her background is in hospice, and she strives to make everyone's life just as unique as the person. She looks forward to each day with new challenges, to accommodate each individual’s needs.
Vicki joined Home Instead in November 2017 as a Staffing
Coordinator. She is very excited to be joining a great company with
compassionate staff and a positive reputation. She has always loved working
with and around people and looks forward to continuing that journey.
Vicki was born and raised in Lincoln. She and her husband,
John have three wonderful daughters- Danika, Ariana and Koraline. They are
always looking for a new adventure to try!
Cheryl is the friendly face who greets visitors to our
office, answers and direct calls, and helps out wherever she is needed. She joined the team as an Office Coordinator in January 2nd, 2013. She
loves visiting with clients, their families and CAREGivers when they call or
visit the office! Cheryl truly loves working at Home Instead Senior Care and
enhancing the lives of our Seniors!
Diane enhances the lives of our clients by
making sure their bills are correct and easily understood. She joined Home Instead team on May 18th, 2012. She has a degree in Accounting from UNL and
years of experience keeping books for a family business. She is always willing
to answer any question or explain an invoice.
Karissa joined the staff in March 2020 as a CAREGiver Administrative Assistant. Karissa works with the Human Resource team to facilitate the hiring process of new CAREGivers, background checks, and drug screens. Karissa also assists on theCAREGiver compliance side where she helps complete tasks in order to provide the highest quality of service toCAREGivers and clients.
Renee has a degree in Associates of Science, CAN, and Certificate as a Dementia Practitioner. As Home Instead Senior Care’s Training Coordinator and Dementia specialist, Renee is responsible for virtual training, empower classes on line, all in house classes, caregiver support groups, and community education. Her heart is educating others about dementia so that our caregivers, families, and our community are all aware of the importance of how to care for a friend or family member with dementia. Renee during her off time enjoys living life with her husband and three kids, being outside, husker football games, and traveling when able.
