CAREGiver OF THE MONTH

Help us congratulate our CAREGiver of the Month for April– Robin Miller! Robin joined the family of CAREGivers in October 2019. At the time, she was a full-time dental assistant in a busy dental office. Since then, she has moved to Home Instead full time and blesses her clients each shift. She has an ability to connect with people and quickly jumps in to help them with their needs. Recently, she has been helping a client with some reorganizing in the home. He doesn't know how he would do it without Robin. Thank you, Robin, for sharing your heart and always taking the lead. We are excited and thrilled you are our CAREGiver of the Month for April!

THANK YOU, OLIVIA!

We want to thank our wonderful Community Outreach Intern, Olivia for all her hard work and efforts while she's been with us these last few months. You were a fantastic part of our team and we'll miss you. Thank you, Olivia!

MONOPOLY FOR THE MONARCH TOURNAMENT

We're excited to be participating in the 18th Annual Monopoly for The Monarch Tournament. The Monarch Eastmont serves as a place that friends and family can spend their last days with loved ones. This annual tournament raises the funds necessary to support those without resources to pay.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT STOCK MARKET CHALLENGE

We are proud to have the opportunity to be a partner for the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge starting April 1st! During the Stock Market event, each team of 4 students receives $1 million to invest in fictitious stocks. Throughout the 60-turn trading period, news from the financial markets will challenge teams to analyze and decide what actions they should take. This event simulates 1-2 years of the market, so each 80-second turn resembles about 2 weeks of real-time. The event is a hybrid of personal and institutional trading. Students work in teams, delegating roles like market analyst, portfolio manager, and asset tracker. Not only will students learn the nuances of investing and trading, but they will also practice important soft skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making. The team with the highest return at the end of the 60 turns wins.
