Meet Our Team

Andy Brittney

Andy & Brittney Gorman, Owners

Andy and Brittney are no strangers to caring for and serving people in their local community; with Brittney’s background in cosmetology and Andy’s in managing medical practices, their experience covers all ends of the spectrum. Their journey in senior care began at the Home Instead Global Headquarters in Omaha, NE. After witnessing the heart and soul put into equipping each Home Instead franchise with the knowledge, training, resources and skills needed to effectively run the best senior in-home care company across the world, they couldn’t wait to own a Home Instead of their own! Andy and Brittney relocated from Omaha to Lincoln to live and be available to the community in which they serve. They are blessed to be able to enhance the lives of seniors and their loved ones by providing unmatched in-home care as well as the opportunity to employ CAREGivers locally to live out their calling!
Brooke Babcock

Brooke Babcock, Interim Operations Manager

Brooke joined Home Instead in January of 2015 as a Service Coordinator and has since been promoted to Interim Operations Manager. Brooke has her degree in Medical Administration, and she has several years of experience working with seniors. Brooke oversees our administrative and caregiving team. She has a passion for developing strong relationships with our CAREGivers and clients and enjoys interacting with them daily. Brooke is persistent in overcoming challenges as they arise and looks forward to the variety that her position brings every day. Brooke enjoys spending time with her two boys, family and friends whether that be at the lake, one of their sporting events or just relaxing at home!


Cheryl Benes

Cheryl Benes, Office Coordinator

Cheryl is the friendly face who greets visitors to our office, answers and direct calls, and helps wherever she is needed. She joined the team as an Office Coordinator in January of 2013. She loves visiting with clients, their families and CAREGivers when they call or visit the office. Cheryl truly loves working at Home Instead and enhancing the lives of our Seniors!


Vicki Westling

Vicki Westling, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Vicki joined Home Instead in November 2017 as part of the scheduling team. During that time, she developed strong relationships with the CAREGivers and gained perspective on what it takes to make a great match between our clients and CAREGivers. Vicki has pivoted her role and now works even more closely with the CAREGivers as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. She is ready to find the quality talent needed to care for our community and is sure to have fun while doing it! Born and raised in Lincoln, Vicki and her husband John raise three spunky girls, Danika, Ariana and Koraline. They love a new adventure!


Lori Bonebright

Lori Bonebright, Training Coordinator

Lori has been involved in person-centered care for approximately 18 years. She began working at Home Instead as a CAREGiver in January of 2020 and has since taken on the responsibility of Training Coordinator, which she enjoys very much. It’s personal to her to educate and enhance compassion in working with seniors and encourage how rewarding it is for both. She enjoys spending time with her husband, grandchildren and friends. She loves to cook as well as bake, but the best part is she likes to share what she makes.
Kirby Howerter

Kirby Howerter, Business Development Coordinator

Kirby joined Home Instead in September of 2021 as the Public Relations Intern. She has since been promoted to Business Development Coordinator. Kirby is originally from Leesburg, Virginia, and came to Nebraska to be closer to her extended family and attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She loves working with our community partners to provide the best possible care to clients. Her favorite thing to do is lead our volunteer efforts in the community and truly get to know the people around her and how she can better serve them. 

Service Coordinators


Angie Walker, Service Coordinator

Angie joined the Home Instead team in April of 2022. She moved to Lincoln in 2004 and much of her professional background is in dental insurance. Angie made the switch to personal wellness in 2021 at the Cooper YMCA, where she still teaches some senior classes. In her free time, she and her husband are always busy chasing their four children to one of their many activities.  

Breanne Covington

Breanne Covington, On-Call Coordinator

Breanne joined Home Instead in December of 2020 as a CAREGiver and loved being able to cultivate relationships with her clients and be the happy part of their week. After being a CAREGiver for a year, she accepted a position to be part of the On-Call Coordinator team and has really been enjoying that as well. She was born and raised here in Lincoln and enjoys the simple Nebraska life with her husband, three young daughters and son! 
Missy Ladd

Missy Ladd, On-Call Coordinator

Missy has been providing care for over 20 years. She started with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in March of 2016 and as an On-Call Coordinator in February. Missy loves being able to provide peace of mind to our clients and their families. When not working, she stays active with her daughter's school and gardening. She loves puns, history, crafting and making people laugh.

Fayth West, On-Call Coordinator

Fayth joined the Home Instead team in July of 2021 as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, she was always kind, practical and flexible with her schedule. Fayth has brought these qualities to the Service team and is always ready to help support other CAREGivers. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafts and listening to music. 

Client Care

Traci Barnard

Traci Barnard, Client Care Manager

Traci joined Home Instead in August of 2015 as a CAREGiver. It was at that time that she found her passion for caring for seniors. After working for 23 years as an X-Ray Technologist, she took an administrative position in the office as a Client Care Coordinator, where she along with her team ensure our clients are receiving the BEST possible care that they both deserve and need. She has continued to grow in her role and is now the Client Care Manager.

Traci enjoys reading, people and spending time with her family Tyson, Regan and Craig. There is nothing better than waking up every morning knowing you can change someone’s life forever. We are making the bad days better and the good days unforgettable!

Emily Korte

Emily Korte, Client Care Coordinator

Emily first joined Home Instead in August of 2019 as a CAREGiver and has now returned in her new role as Client Care Coordinator. She has her bachelor's degree in Human Relations and holds the titles of CNA and Certified Dementia Practitioner. She has many years of experience working with seniors as a Med Aide, CNA, Activities Director and companion. Emily loves helping and serving others. She is excited to be continuing to live her passion for providing quality care to seniors every day. In Emily's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family.
Ashley Erks

Ashley Erks, Client Care Coordinator

Ashley joined Home Instead in August of 2021 as a Client Care Coordinator. She has several years of experience working with seniors in Senior Move Management and loves interacting with seniors and their families. Ensuring high-quality care while providing a safe, healthy and enjoyable life for seniors is her true passion. In her free time, Ashley enjoys time with her husband, two children, family, friends, sporting events, shopping, being active and traveling.
