Our General Manager, Sarah, and our Client Care Manager, Michelle, just completed the Dementia Friends Champion Training at the Plainfield/Guilford Township Public Library. This training equips us with the knowledge and skills to better support those living with Alzheimer's and dementia in our community.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about senior fraud protection, distinguishing between normal aging and dementia-related aging, and effective communication strategies for interacting with individuals living with dementia. It was a great opportunity to improve our skills and support our community. Events like these are just one of many ways we strive to enhance Alzheimer's care in Plainfield, IN.
