Looking after your brain is just as important as looking after your physical health and can positively impact your memory, helping to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.This is especially important for family caregivers who are already looking after aging loved ones.

Recently on world Alzheimer's day (September 21st), Home Instead of Hattiesburg held a virtual workshop to help family caregivers learn important information about brain health. In this workshop, we discussed the following:
• The 6 key areas of brain health
• The importance of brain health across the lifespan
• The impact of caregiving on brain health
• The signs of cognitive decline and when to act
