For nearly three decades, Home Instead has delivered compassionate, high-quality care to aging adults around the globe, and our aging population is growing at an unprecedented pace. We're on a mission to expand the world's capacity to care and committed to bringing the highest standard of care to the Pinebelt and beyond!
Our History
Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!
Their goal was to help others, like Grandma Manhart, age well at home and to ease the struggles of family caregivers like themselves. As Home Instead's first professional caregivers, the Hogans developed deep appreciation and respect for aging adults and those who care for them.
