Care Professional of the Month for June 2024- LaQunta W.
Congratulations to our Care Professional of the month for June, LaQunta W.! LaQunta started her caregiving journey approximately 5 years ago when she began caring for her grandmother. She loved taking care of others and sought a career that would allow her to work doing something she loves and provide a rewarding way to give back to seniors in her community.
Her favorite part of being a Home Instead Care Professional is providing excellent care to her clients. She loves seeing a smile on their face when they have had a good day. It is very rewarding to LaQunta when her clients may not even say “thank you” but she knows by their smile or touch that they are grateful for her service. Her most favorite caregiving memory was when a client told her she was a good person and played the piano for her. “My heart melted. I was so touched by her sweet words and to hear her music,” said LaQunta.
