Did you know that March is considered National Social Work Month? It's the time of the year to show extra appreciation to the folks to strive every day to improve the quality of life of so many people across the country. The caregivers at Home Instead of Gastonia, NC are some of the most caring, kind, and joyful people and though we are thankful for them every day, it is important to show them some extra attention. In honor of National Social Work Month and on behalf of all of us here at Home Instead, we thank all the care professionals and social workers who make lives easier for people in need.
This year to celebrate, we set up a Monopoly-themed booth with some free goodies for our home care professionals. Owners, Dona & Roy, got all dressed up to match the booth - Roy as the Monopoly man and Dona as someone who did NOT have a "get out of jail free card." It was very fun to see them in costume and interact with different people throughout the office.
