If I could give more stars I would. I have been working with Home Instead for a few months and I love it. One of my favorite things about this company is their mission statement, trust me, they represent it well. Everyone in the office and all of my care coordinators have been beyond kind to me. I don’t think I have ever worked in such a lovely environment or for caring company. I don’t see myself leaving. I love my job. Yet, to me it is not a job. It is a way of life. I love each and every person I care for. They are like family to me. I go to school full time at night and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a job that would be flexible with my schedule. Home Instead is flexible, reliable, rewarding and definitely a place to consider if you love to care for others or simply want someone to love and care for your loved ones. As a caregiver working in clients home I figured no one at the office would actually ever remember me since I don’t see them daily but, oh was I wrong! I believe this company stands true to who they are. For them, it IS personal! I have received thank you letters in the mail, get better soon cards after a wreck, little goodie bags with my favorite snacks and they even give back to their care givers and clients with yummy meals made with love. They have taken the time to check in on me and ask how school is going. Small little things like this don’t go unnoticed for me. As an employee, I feel like there is always room to grow and this is the perfect environment to do so. I am so blessed to work here and I thank God for leading me here! I hope when I am a senior citizen myself, Home Instead is still around!

I have been working for Home Instead for 18 months and I have never had a more rewarding job! I have so much fun caring for the incredible seniors and always look forward to seeing them each day. The owners and all of the staff are truly dedicated to caring for every client, down to the last detail.

I have worked with this company several years now. I have grown so much as an individual and made many special friends among the way. I am sincerely thankful to all of my coworkers and the teamwork we have in common. This company cares about their employees. This is an awesome team to work with!

I worked at Home Instead this past summer and absolutely loved my experience as a Care Pro. The staff was always so helpful and was very attentive whenever I had a question. As a new Care Pro, I never felt underprepared and I have the staff at Home Instead to thank for that. I would definitely recommend this job to anyone interested in caregiving/CNA work!!

I am blessed to be a part of the Home Instead team. My position is to help care pros succeed within our organization. I work with care pros in the home and help with scheduling. Our owners are very experienced in the home-care business, they give us all the knowledge and tools to excel at our job. Most of all they really care about our care pros and our clients. Absolutely the best leadership I have ever experienced in my 20 plus years of employment.

I’ve been with home instead for a year now as a caregiver. I love the work environment and Roy & Dona’s dedication to their work. Your efforts never go unappreciated working here, good benefits, and even a chance to continue your education with their partnership with Gaston College. I’ve had an AMAZING work experience here! And definitely recommend working with us if you have a senior in need. We have amazing, detail oriented, dedicated caregivers on our team.

I have been employed by Home Instead of Gastonia for almost 15 years. My career with Home Instead has brought such joy to my life because of the endless opportunities to serve the elderly as well as Veterans in the Gaston, Lincolnton and Cleveland County areas. It is extremely rewarding to assist families with setting up home or community care for their loved one by offering 1:1 assistance with VA benefits and connecting families to resources they need for day to day meaningful and quality of life. Working with and for Home Instead of Gastonia is one of the greatest blessings in my life and especially to be under the leadership of Owners, Roy and Dona Goforth. Great people and outstanding Employer with a huge heart.

Home Instead has by far been the best place to work. I started as a caregiver and took a position in the office shortly after. The owners are truly amazing and really share their heart with everyone. Their mission statement says it all “honoring God by exceeding the expectations of everyone they encounter through the care they provide”, truly is what they live by. To them it is personal! I love my Home Instead family.

I have been working for Home Instead going on 4 years. I love this company, the people who run it and keep it going, and my clients. Everyone one is so sweet and nice it's more than just a company ,you feel like family. I love all my clients. I love what I do it's so fun meeting different people and their family's. They just grab a piece of your heart.

I’ve been a part of this company since March, soon after we found out I was pregnant. Working with this company has been nothing but a blessing. They have done everything they can for my family and I. I would recommend and have recommended working for this company to quite a few people. I love all of my clients and will miss them greatly while I’m in maternity leave.

Wonderful place to work and use their services. They are truly caring, trust worthy and professional company. I love working for them, they are very helpful when I need something and the the hours are flexible to what I need. The best part is being part of something that helps others.

I want to lift up Sharee Coren of Home Instead (HI), the weekend “everything” for HI… caring for clients needs and caregivers through the weekend (anything can happen). I find her to be exceptional and her attitude reflects HI’s Gastonia Office motto, Honoring God by Exceeding Expectations of Everyone We Encounter. I know I try to do that, and it’s hard, but Sharee’s attitude never seems to change, she ALWAYS lifts me up, always going the Extra Mile. I would add I’ve been a caregiver for HI for 7 or 8 years, mostly part time, and they are a wonderful company to work for. Perfect, not quite, but always striving to be loving, compassionate for our clients and their families…and the staff loves on the caregivers too! I could write great things about many of the employees but wanted to thank and bless Sharee today!! She makes my job easier. (Phil. 4:8)
