I’m happy to say that I will be with Home in Stead this October, for 9 years. I have worked in nursing homes for approximately 20 years and assisted living places for another 21 years. I thoughts I was ready to retire, but after a month, I decided to find something in else in the nursing area. I started applying for jobs and looking into home and care facilities. I applied at 3 places and was hired by all of them. I chose Home in Stead right from the beginning. In my interview with Shiela, she made me feel so welcomed, she was kind and so sweet. I also met the rest of the staff. I thought to myself wow these people are so awesome, the whole staff made me feel very comfortable, right from the start. So 9 years later, I here still working for Home in Stead. I can’t tell you enough what a great place to work for. I have to say all my clients and the staff, are wonderful. The owners and staff are always trying to make things better and going way beyond anything we need, in taking excellent care of our clients. I’m so glad, I chose Home in Stead to work for. I’m proud to be working for this company.

I started with HomeInstead in Pipersville early December which ended up being the best thing that happened to me. I was currently working prior to this with another agency for 3 years and I was very unhappy with them. The HomeInstead agency is a very caring group that is involved in the clients issues and fits them with a compatible caregiver. In doing that everyone is a winner. The staff at HomeInstead is always available anytime to help with any issues that might come up from time to time. I am so very grateful for being part of this team! Therefore I would highly recommend this agency with your love ones.

I've been at Home Instead for almost 5 yrs. It's been a very rewarding experience. I've met some of the most interesting people. Some have been like family. I've been included i lots of family functions. The company is so great to work for. If I need anything, they are a phone call away. For any questions or help. The other caregivers are like a team helping with anything to make our jobs easier. It's been the best experience and I'm so glad I joined this team.

I learned from reading reviews and also from clients that the staff at Home Instead cared very strongly about their clients and worked tirelessly to always provide the best care possible. This was very important to me when I first interviewed with Emily last year. What I then learned was that care and dedication carried over to all of the employees as well in a truly remarkable way. From day one of my employment, I have felt valued and what a gift that is. I had been trying to find "my place" where I would feel at home and valuable as an employee. Every step of the way, there is encouragement and support. Communication between staff and employees is the best I've ever known. Questions are encouraged and support is always readily available. I really enjoy working with this company immediately after I got hired the office staff start me with a case which was the right fit for me.The owner/office staff were professional and friendly they made me feel appreciated they treated me like one of their own with respect and kindness it's a reputable company to work for ,everyone is a team in fact I like how we all work together also if employees have any issues they'll work with you and resolve it in a timely manner I really feel honor and bless to be a part of the Home Insted Team.
Very good place to work at. Working here for a little over 4 months and have gotten a raise already. I've worked for other agencies and have never gotten a raise.

Every day that I help my clients, I am very gratified knowing that i am appreciated by both the family I am assisting and by my team at Home Instead.. the office is always willing to work with me on my schedule should conflicts arise and allow for flexibility.. the compensation is very competitive and I appreciate that they pay extra for weekend shifts and are attentive to overtime pay and reimbursement for accumulated personal time.. a true family atmosphere. Home instead is a Great place to work! I’ve worked in the past at an assisted living place, and I love that this company is one on one with an individual client, allowing myself to give them the upmost quality care.☺️ I love that I don’t have to rush between clients, because there is the next one waiting. I love that I can talk/spend more quality time with the client, and get to know them on a deeper level. As well, what I love about the company is, the administration office is professional, and friendly. They truly work their hardest to accommodate their staff with the schedule, hours needed, and the same accommodations are given to their clients. I have been employed with Home Instead Plumsteadville for 8 years. After retiring from a teaching position I was employed by another caregiving company. I was so disappointed-I left after 2 years. So I have something to compare Home Instead to. The new and current owners of our company are amazing! They value their employees and express that in so many ways. The office staff is always professional and pleasant. Additional office staff members were hired and the office is running very efficiently. I always feel that my concerns are heard and dealt with appropriately. The office staff is outstanding in terms of follow up and communication. We have 24 hour phone calls available. I have been a CG for Home Instead for going on 8 years.the staff at HI is super friendly and helpful.They match each caregiver and client very carefully.The clients are great.To be able to go and spend time and help elders with simple tasks is very rewarding.often they have interesting stories to tell one can learn something new every day.The reward of helping them get through a day,give them laughter and a listening ear.Sometimes spending some time with a new friend who helps out is supportive that's all they need and can be a breath of fresh air.
