We are seeking CNAs, lapsed CNAs, personal care workers, caregivers, and those with experience caring for a loved one. Those without experience are also encouraged to apply as we provide paid training.

All shifts available immediate start! 8-12 hour shifts NEEDED!

You are invited to share your exceptional talents and skill to help seniors stay independent and live the lifestyle they desire with Home Instead. You will work one-on-one with clients and can provide the care that the seniors deserve to improve quality of life.

We do require you to have a soft heart, compassion, and the highest level of dependability. By joining us, you will be part of a professional team who will work with you to ensure your success.

As a CAREGiver with Home Instead, you will provide:
*Companionship and conversation
*Stabilization and assistance with walking
*Meals and clean up meal-related items
*Medication and appointment reminders
*Light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
*Washing and ironing laundry
*Errands
*Accompanying clients to appointments
*Bathing assistance
*Grooming assistance
*Toileting and incontinence care assistance
*Alzheimer's/Dementia Care

Essential Job Requirements:
*Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
*Ability to read and write English
*Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
*Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
*Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers)
*Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen
*Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
*Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions
*Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
*Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
*Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
