JANUARY 2021 CAREGIVER OF THE MONTH: JOYCE SHEPARD
Not everyone has a mind and heart like our CAREGiver of the Month for January, Joyce Shepard. She will never fail to remember a birthday of a client or one of the office staff. She is quick to give a smile, buy a heartfelt card, or thoughtful gift for our clients, office staff, or CAREGivers. To her, these seemingly little things are important, and they make a world of difference to the recipients.
Our clients agree, Joyce Shepard deserves this recognition. She will do anything for our clients. She has picked up and filled in many short shifts. She does everything with style and grace. Her heart to serve shows through all she does. She makes difficult or challenging tasks look easy. She has a reputation for being there for her client’s need as well as their hearts, listening to them.
She is also loved by our CAREGivers. Our CAREGivers are instantly reassured when they hear that Joyce is on the way to introduce them to our clients. She is an excellent resource for introductions, helping CAREGivers, and being the connection between clients and CAREGivers. Her experience as a CAREGiver enables her to put herself in the CAREGivers shoes. Her heart for the clients enables her to empathetically understand where they are and their needs.
That is an unbeatable combination, Joyce. We are so happy to have you on our team! We truly could not do what we do without our Joyce Shepard. So sorry Joyce, retirement is not an option for you. 😊
