This year Home Instead chose 10 Care Professionals who truly stood out, demonstrating compassion and exceptional care to the older adults and families they work with. Being named a Care Professional of the Year is one of the profession’s highest honors and Home Instead’s highest accolade for our more than 100,000 Care Professionals worldwide. June - Daisy
Daisy exemplifies creativity when designing care for her clients. From thinking of crafts to do with clients or playing games with them, Daisy is able to help design a unique care plan for each client that includes caring for the Mind, Body, and Spirit.
March - Samantha
Samantha is a treasure who is able to build a solid, trusting relationship with all her clients. Her clients adore her and enjoy the time she is with them. Her ability to engage in a way that connects to her clients is a gift and we are so thankful she is part of our team!
January - Rose
Rose can always be counted on to be proactive when caring for her clients and intuitively understanding their needs. Through active listening she is able to meet her clients wherever they are in their aging journey and provide the care they need. Rose has been a phenomenal advocate for her clients and through her grace and dignity ensures her clients are receiving the best care possible regardless of their living circumstances. July - Care Pro Appreciation Event
Care Professional Appreciation Event! Each summer we celebrate every Home Instead San Diego Care Professional. We host a big picnic style event complete with games, prizes, bounce houses, and yummy food! We wouldn’t be here today without our incredible Care Professionals. Thank you!
April - Robin
The queen of collaboration! She has worked in every department of Home Instead, from the office and now back to care professional! Robin keeps the pathways of communication wide open and leaves nothing up in the air. The status of her clients takes precedence in her care and she keeps the client's family and the office up to date with everything.
February - Karla
Karla works diligently to demonstrate that her work with Home Instead is not 'just a job' but an answer to a calling to serve our aging community members. She enjoys spending time with her clients and engaging them in surprising ways (like a game of shuffle board!) but is always ready to roll up her sleeves and take on the more challenging aspects of being a Care Pro. Thank you, Karla for loving on your clients and making them feel valued.
August - Brandye
Brandye has demonstrated an unwavering empathetic heart towards every one of her clients. Her clients rely on her for support and know they can trust her when they need a steady support system in their lives.

Debbie is exceptional when it comes to building teams around her clients. She is dedicated to making sure her clients are cared for not only in the physical sense but also their spirit. Taking the time to truly know who your client is marks the difference between a caregiver and a care professional and Debbie is a Care Professional in every sense.
