At Home Instead of Shrewsbury, we're dedicated to ensuring that seniors in our community have access to the best local resources available. In this edition of our Senior Resource Spotlight, we shine a light on the Shrewsbury Senior Center, a vital part of our community since its grand opening in February 2000.
The Senior Center provides a space where seniors can gather, connect, and thrive. With essential facilities such as conference and meeting rooms, the Council on Aging Department, and the cozy Village Cafe, the center plays a key role in enriching the well-being of our senior community.
One highlight of the Shrewsbury Senior Center is the Village Cafe, a space where meals, provided by Elder Services of Worcester Area, Inc., are prepared. Lunch is served at Noon from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, with a suggested $2 donation. On Special Luncheon days, the food is served at 11:30 a.m. Reservations can be made by calling 508-841-8757 by Noon at least 2 business days ahead of time.
