John Chapman, Owner

John has served in the healthcare industry in various capacities for more than 20 years. In September of 2021, John pursued his dream of owning a Home Instead franchise, which provided the unique opportunity to combine his passion to serve aging seniors with owning a premier homecare agency. John is grateful for the amazing team of caregivers and staff that join him in making Home Instead the leading provider of homecare services in Washington County, PA.

Colin Chapman, Business Development Associate

Colin joined the Home Instead Team in July of 2023, relocating from Jacksonville, FL to Massillon, OH for this opportunity. Prior to his industry change, Colin recruited for niche roles at University of Chicago and Frontier Airlines, which has translated well in his new role as Business Development Associate. Throughout college, Colin had the opportunity to work with a Home Instead office in Washington, PA and witness the impact their home care services made in the community, jumpstarting his passion to serve the elderly. Colin is thrilled to be able to serve clients in Northeast Ohio, and truly make a difference in seniors' lives. In his free time, you can find Colin playing golf, basketball, Spikeball, running, spending time with family and friends, attending church, and visiting Florida any chance he gets!

Alexi Freeman, Service Coordinator

Alexi has been with Home Instead for nine years, beginning her journey as a Care Pro after experiencing firsthand the impact of in-home care while her grandmother was a client. Over the years, she has worn many hats, ultimately finding her true calling as the office scheduler. Alexi has been happily married to her wonderful husband for five years, and together they are raising their beautiful baby girl—along with their beloved fur baby. Outside of work, she has a love for The Beatles and enjoys photography whenever she can.

Deanna Hannay, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Deanna Hannay is a dedicated Recruitment Engagement Coordinator at Home Instead, where she combines her passion for helping others with over 15 years of experience in customer service and leadership. Certified in Medical Office Administration, Deanna brings both compassion and professionalism to her work, ensuring clients and caregivers receive the highest level of support. Beyond her career, Deanna is a proud wife and mother of five, finding balance between family life and her commitment to making a difference in her community. Known for her empathy, strong work ethic, and genuine care for people, she thrives on building meaningful connections and fostering positive experiences for everyone she works with.

Christa Lance, Client Care Coordinator

With over 8 years of experience in the medical field, Christa began her career in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) field, where she discovered her passion for providing meaningful care and support. Over time, she moved into management and administrative roles, gaining valuable leadership and organizational experience. She then worked as a Nurse Aide in an assisted living home, further strengthening her hands-on caregiving skills. Eventually, she returned to her first love — providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities — until she found her home with Home Instead, where she now gets to share her passion and knowledge while providing direct client care and training others. Christa takes pride in being compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to making a positive impact on both clients and the teams she supports.

Susan Prota, Weekday On-Call Service Coordinator

As the weekday On-Call Supervisor for Home Instead, Susan provides after-hours support to ensure clients and caregivers always have the help they need. With 18 years of experience in homecare, Susan handles client and caregiver concerns, manages schedule changes, and coordinates responses to emergencies with care and compassion. Susan's goal is to create peace of mind for families and a supportive environment for caregivers. She takes pride in being a reliable resource who helps everything run smoothly — even after hours.

Tracey has worked in scheduling for over two years, helping coordinate care visits to ensure clients receive dependable, high-quality support. She collaborates closely with caregivers and clients to create schedules that are efficient, responsive, and tailored to individual needs. Her goal is to support the care team while providing continuity and peace of mind for the families served.

Madison provides on-call weekend support remotely as she serves as a dependable point of contact for caregivers and families. She offers timely assistance and reassurance when needs arise.
