If you’re looking to find your rhythm this spring, we found an event that is sure to make some noise! Home Instead is excited to spotlight a chance for local seniors to experience the thunderous energy of Taiko drumming for free!
Starting in March, the Carson City Senior Center at 911 Beverly Dr. is hosting a four-week workshop called "The Joy of Drumming." You'll dive into the rich history of Japanese Taiko drumming and experience a new culture through rhythm.
The workshop runs every Tuesday in March (the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th) from 4 to 5:30pm. Beginners are more than welcome to join! Space is limited for this free program, so please register at the Senior Center reception or call (775) 883-0703.
