How long have you worked at Home Instead?
I will be employed with Home Instead for 5 years in November.
What’s your favorite part of caregiving?
The thing I cherish most about caregiving is the feeling I get from taking care of my clients. The connections I have made are countless. I wouldn’t change anything I’ve been through in the last 30 years as a caregiver.
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I’m an easy-going person who enjoys being out in nature. I love to go for walks. I was born and raised in the Jackson area. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends or just staying home and relaxing in front of the television with my daughter.
A couple of interesting things about my life:
People often tell me I look younger than 64 years old and can’t believe I have a 45-year-old son and a 42-year-old daughter. I look at life as something that is to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest. Being active is what keeps me young.
