At Home Instead, our Care Pros are the heart of everything we do—and this month, we’re proud to recognize Annie as our Care Pro of the Month.
Annie has been a valued member of the Home Instead team for just over a year. What she loves most about caregiving is helping seniors remain comfortable and at peace in their own homes, rather than having to move into a nursing home or assisted living facility.
A widow and devoted mother, Annie is the sole provider for her daughter and is also the proud mother of two sons. She brings over 30 years of experience to her work and finds great fulfillment in serving seniors, knowing that one day someone may be called to care for her in the same way.
Annie shares, “I never imagined I would do this kind of work or love it as much as I do. In the past, I worked in housekeeping, laundry, and other odd jobs. My husband preferred that I didn’t work, but I chose to. Now I’m grateful I did, because he’s no longer here to support me. I’m on my own—and proud of it.”
