Home Instead Clinton Celebrates Yvette Powell as April 2026 Care Pro of the Month
At Home Instead Clinton, we’re proud to recognize Yvette Powell as our April 2026 Care Pro of the Month.
Yvette has been part of the Home Instead family for three years and has been caregiving on and off since 2003. With a strong background as a licensed counselor (LPC) and degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and Marriage and Family Counseling, she brings both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every client she serves. Her experience spans nursing homes, assisted living, and in-home care, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how to support seniors in meaningful ways.
What truly sets Yvette apart is the joy she brings into her work. She believes caregiving should feel natural, uplifting, and personal. As she puts it, “My favorite part of caregiving is having fun and laughing with my clients… helping them live as normally as possible makes me feel good.” That approach helps her build strong, trusting relationships and creates moments of happiness that make a real difference in her clients’ daily lives.
Yvette sees helping others not just as a job, but as her calling. Her dedication to serving others is evident in everything she does, both inside and outside of Home Instead. She also co-owns Twin Divas Sweets and More with her twin sister, Yvonne, where they create homemade treats with a personal touch—each recipe named after a loved one and made with a sprinkle of love.
