Our Care Pro meetings are usually the time when our team gathers to talk shop, award our Caregivers of the Month, and swap stories over tasty snacks and coffee. It’s our way of staying sharp on the latest industry updates while making sure our team gets some much-needed social time with other people who get it. But this month, we had a surprise! Turns out, Santa Claus himself wanted to see how our caregivers provide the best home care in Terre Haute, Indiana.
While we were tempted to ask for all the goodies on our wish lists, our team managed to stay focused on some serious business. Our team participated in the Dementia Friendly Business Certification program through Indiana University. This program teaches us how to better support those living with dementia by recognizing unique needs and creating a community that’s safer and more inclusive.
