About Us
Meet Our Team
ada

Dr. Aaron and Ada Christopher

Dr. Aaron and Ada Christopher are multi-unit owners of Home Instead franchises in Illinois and Iowa. They have two children and live in Port Byron, IL. They both have a passion for working with seniors and making a positive impact in their community.

 

Ada has a Bachelor’s in Business and two Master’s Degrees; an MBA and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Management. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in a variety of leadership roles in the healthcare field and service organizations. This includes non-profits serving under-served populations and economically challenged families, as well as Federally Qualified Health Clinics. She learned early on that her calling was serving others and is passionate about serving seniors and families.

 

Aaron is a practicing Certified Public Accountant. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting and his PhD from Claremont Graduate University. He has worked in public accounting, as an accounting professor, and as the Chief Financial Officer for several large organizations. Aaron owns several practices in staffing, finance, accounting services and investments.

 

Their mission is to enhance the lives of seniors by providing a network of reliable, compassionate, and well-trained Care Professionals. They are on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior in-home care needs.

Sara O., General Manager

Sara is the General Manager for both our Rockford and Crystal Lake locations. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.

As the General Manager, Sara is responsible for the overall operations of Home Instead and it's team members. Sara is most passionate about finding new CAREGivers with big hearts, compassion and respect for our senior population. CAREGivers are essential to Home Instead and help our seniors maintain an independent lifestyle while living in their homes.

Sara is extremely excited to be part of the Home Instead Family!

Brooke

Brooke V., Business Development Manager

Brooke and I am the Business Development Manager for Home Instead Rockford, IL. Her professional background is in the healthcare field providing services for seniors for the past 10 years. She sincerely cares about ensuring our senior population has the quality care that they deserve. Brooke is deeply passionate about senior care and committed to contributing to solutions that improve the well-being and quality of life for older adults.

In her personal life, Brooke has been married 24 years to her husband Tom. They have three children and three grandchildren. She also has two adorable little dogs, Teddy and Lily. You can find her in the summer, swimming at a beach or in her pool. Weekends are spent with spontaneous trips to find the best wineries in the area and/ or just spending time with her family!

Brooke is extremely happy and proud to be a member of Home Instead's team!

Shannon U., Client Care Coordinator

Shannon is the Client Care Coordinator here in Rockford. With a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and a wealth of experience in client care under her belt, Shannon finds that the most rewarding aspect of my role is cultivating relationships with our clients. Whether it's sharing a goofy selfie or spreading good vibes, being a source of support is what she truly loves. When she is not busy fostering connections, you can usually find Shannon having a blast with her dog, Bogey Fynn, playing volleyball, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.  Shannon is genuinely looking forward to meeting our soon-to-be clients and starting this exciting journey together!

Shannon is excited to provide care for our clients, here at Home Instead!

Morgan W., Intake Coordinator

Morgan is the Intake Coordinator for Home Instead.  She has a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.  As the Intake Coordinator, Morgan is the initial point of contact for the client, or their loved ones.  Her compassion, empathy and understanding nature is what motivates her to help to the best of her abilities.  

In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her son and her 5 animals.

Robin M., Business Manager

Robin is our Business Manager for Home Instead Senior Care’s Bettendorf, Moline, Crystal Lake and Rockford locations. She has her Associates in Psychology/HR degree from Scott Community College. As Business Manager, Robin is responsible for the financial side of Home Instead Senior Care including billing, payroll, and bookkeeping. Robin enjoys being part of the Home Instead team and offering support to a company whose focus is on caring for Seniors.

Amber H., Billing & Payroll Coordinator

Amber Hearn is our Billing, Payroll and Compliance Coordinator for Home Instead. Hailing from the Quad Cities.  She recently earned her associates degree in Business Management from Eastern Illinois Community College.  She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports or reading a good suspense novel.  Known for her hard work and determination, she excel at handling challenging tasks and making tough decisions.  She also enjoy collaborating with others and maintaining a positive mindset.  

Brian M., VP of Operations

Brian M. has over 30 years of experience in sales leadership, strategic business planning, and operational management. In his most recent role as Vice President of Sales at Fusion Medical Staffing, he had over 230 recruiters across multiple divisions, driving performance through data-driven strategies and a consultative sales approach.

Previously, Brian was the VP of Franchise Support at Home Instead Senior Care leading a 25-member team supporting 700+ franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada, Part of his role included direct oversight of corporately owned franchises in Omaha, Texas and Washington. He developed nationwide initiatives that enhanced franchisee success, caregiver satisfaction, and client outcomes.

Brian’s career foundation was built at Enterprise Rent-A-Car he excelled in customer service, operational efficiency, and market expansion. He is known for his ability to align strategic vision with execution, foster strong relationships, and deliver measurable business results.

Brian’s favorite book is The Servant by James Hunter. His leadership style is based on serving those around him to make sure you have grown and learned from spending time with him.

He shares four adult children with his wife Carly and currently lives in Omaha, NE. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercising and anything sports related.
