Paul and Sherry Dziuban, Co-Franchise Owners
Paul and Sherry, Franchise Owners of Home Instead, Honolulu since 2009 have always had a passion for helping people. Part of this passion stemmed from Sherry visiting her grandfather in a nursing home which was an eye-opening experience.
While the deterioration of her grandfather's health required full-time care in a nursing home, many of the other residents of the center where her grandfather lived seemed out of place. They could easily have lived on their own - with just a little extra help.
Paul and Sherry vowed to help people like these avoid the confines of a nursing home. They found a way by opening a franchise of Home Instead.
Learn how Paul and Sherry can help you find the in-home care your family needs in Honolulu, HI.

Erin Perry, Care Coordinator
Erin was born and raised on Oahu. She started her career as a care giver in 2017 working in a memory unit specializing in care for patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She later moved to Washington where she worked as a care giver at an assisted living community. While employed there, Erin worked her way up from a caregiver to medication aide, and then took on the role of care coordinator. Erin is highly motivated and holds a deep sense of responsibility to ensure all the families we care for have access to reliable and exceptional care.
Erin joined the Home Instead family in March of 2023. As Client Care Coordinator, she is responsible for training Caregivers to succeed in their clients' home, and she builds personalized individual care plans based on the needs of our clients. She never hesitates to jump in where needed to provide support. She is very detail oriented and passionate about providing care to the kūpuna on island.
Ali Zane, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
Ali joined the Home Instead team in 2024 as a part-time Administrative Assistant and Caregiver. Through her dedication and natural connection with others, she quickly advanced to the role of Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. In this role, Ali is responsible for community outreach, developing innovative recruitment strategies, and leading new hire training and orientation. Her approach to recruiting caregivers is simple yet personal: she seeks individuals who she would trust to care for her own grandparents.
Growing up in a multi-generational home, Ali helped care for her grandmother at home before she had to be moved to a nursing home. That experience deeply shaped her passion for providing care to seniors and taught her how important it is for our kūpuna to remain at home, where they are happiest. What motivates her most in her work at Home Instead is knowing that she helps provide support to the kūpuna who may not have loved ones nearby to offer the same care and companionship. She believes that every small act of care matters, and she is proud to be part of a team that strives to deliver the best, most compassionate care.
