Service Manager:

HOME INSTEAD - the leading non-medical Home Care Agency in Northern Colorado is looking for a Service Manager to join our team. This will be a full time position with on-call responsibilities. The Service Manager is responsible for successfully directing and managing all scheduling activities related to clients and Care Professionals. The Service Manager focuses on key areas to create high quality matches, ensure key goals and metrics are met, and leads a team to provide the highest quality of service.

Location: Onsite

Pay: Salaried ($55k-$65k depending on experience)

Schedule: Fulltime, Monday-Friday (w/ additional on-call responsibilities)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a team of Service Coordinators to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered.
  • Manage and review ongoing scheduling activities to ensure Care Professionals and clients receive the best matching experience.
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of Service Coordinators which affect operational efficiency and achievement of the operational goals and KPI’s.
  • Monitor analytics and pull reports within the software system to ensure scheduling targets are met regarding utilization.
  • Manage outcomes of department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals and KPI’s.
  • Ensure the Service Coordinators are meeting regularly with outside departments which could affect other departmental outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with the franchise owner, key players, Care Professionals, clients, and family members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to the team.
  • Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary for the success of a Home Instead franchise office
  • Provide after hours on call service duties, as scheduled.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or the equivalent required.
  • Professional experience in scheduling / service coordination required.
  • 2+ years of management experience required.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The ability to handle stress is mandatory. This is a fast-paced position that requires you to be able to handle many scheduling scenarios at once.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
  • The ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment, problem solving and good decision making.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
  • Must have knowledge of the senior-care industry
