September Care Professional of the Month: Sue A
Sue will soon be celebrating her 1-year anniversary on our team, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her now as our September Care Pro of the Month!
Originally from Liverpool, England, Sue came to us with a very interesting professional background and story. Sue was a police detective in England for many years, during which time she met her American husband to whom she has been married for 27 years!
Once retiring from her role with the British police, she and her husband embarked on a 3 year sailboat adventure around the world! Eventually, with that running its course, she and her husband relocated to the downtown Denver area where they now live with their dogs.
Another interesting fact that we love about Sue is that is a Denver tour guide providing bus and walking tours themed around some of Denver’s very interesting history. Coming home from a morning tour last year, she ran into one of our caregivers who was arriving at the building to care for a client, and decided to apply!
We loved that she had such a heart for the older generation and a professional and genuine disposition.
Sue has mentioned that, due to the physical distance and the sudden onset of illness, she missed out on seeing her mother when she was in her last week of life. She was, however, able to see and care for her father when he needed her, and for that she is grateful.
Like us, Sue feels that she is providing an important and invaluable service by being there for those who need her as well as the families who depend on our team of Care Pros to help them keep their loved ones safe and happy at home, instead of anywhere else.
