October Care Professional of the Month: Kim B
Kim recently celebrated her 1-year anniversary with us, and we are so fortunate she came our way in September of 2023! In addition to being a valuable member of our caregiving team, Kim, for the past 18 years, has held the position of Family Specialist for a local non-profit that helps local families get back on track when children have been placed in foster care. No matter which professional path she is on, Kim has always been in the role of caring for and helping those in need.
Over the past 18 years, she and her husband have been foster-parents to more than 200 children in need of stable homes, including two whom they adopted and are now grown adults! Our staff see Kim in action regularly and Care Manager Mary says, “We are so fortunate to have Kim on our team. Her calm demeanor and gentle spirit make her the perfect Care Professional for our clients with dementia and cognitive issues. Kim genuinely cares about those she cares for, always placing their needs above her own.” Another Care Manager said, “Kim thinks outside of the box when problems and situations arise and makes her clients feel safe and secure.”
