February Care Professional of the Month: Jamie F
Jamie started her caregiving journey caring for her own grandmother for two years, saying, “I quickly learned that caring for others is my calling because I absolutely love helping others.” As it turns out, that same grandmother was also one of our dear clients!
During those two years, we became familiar with Jamie’s passion for caregiving, her natural talents, and the skill sets she developed while earning her Medical Assistant license. She also became familiar with the high-quality Home Instead caregivers we have on our team.
When her grandmother passed away, Jamie took some time, and then decided to continue her caregiving journey by joining our team as a Home Instead Care Professional.
On a personal level, Jamie has been married for nearly 11 years and has two step-sons, ages 21 and 18, whom she describes as “amazing.” She and her husband also have two dogs! She enjoys hiking and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
When asked what words of advice she could provide to her fellow Care Professionals, Jamie says, “Always be patient and stay calm and always come through the door with a smile on your face.”
