Traci, Scheduling Coordinator
I am a native of Pittsburgh, PA and began working for Home Instead as a Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for our Oakmont office. A few years later I began working as a Scheduling Coordinator remotely for our Pittsburgh offices. Recently, I’ve had the opportunity of providing the same support to our new office in Monument, Colorado. I began my career because of a passion for helping others and in my current position, I have the pleasure of making the perfect match between the care professionals and the clients. “The best feeling is being able to lessen the load for the clients’ families.“ I am married with three children and two grandchildren who I have the joy of spoiling almost daily! I have two rescue dogs and love all the Pittsburgh sports teams.

She was diagnosed with a malformation of veins in her Cerebellum called a Cavernous Angioma. She underwent an operation to correct it. Once in rehabilitation she relied on the care of others to help her with activities of daily living until fully recovered. She personally knows how important it is to have a caregiver with patience that you can fully depend on and trust when you really need someone’s help. She is happy to be a part of the services that Home Instead provides. Shanna is a proud mother of 3 fabulous and active children. When she's not at their sporting events and activities, she enjoys listening to music and being at camp with family and friends. “If I ever decide to quit my day job, it would be to become a stand up comedian.” -Shanna
