At Home Instead, we invest time and resources into properly training each new team member before they ever walk into a client’s home. This week, we wrapped up another round of caregiver training and officially welcomed three wonderful new caregivers to the Home Instead of Goodyear, AZ team.
They spent the first days learning how to deliver the care our clients rely on, practicing everything from safe transferring techniques to respectful communication. One tool they learned to use is a gait belt, which helps caregivers safely support or lift seniors as they stand and walk.
