This weekend, Home Instead of Litchfield Park, AZ, joined the Hacienda Del Rey Assisted Living team for their Mini Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This fundraiser benefits the Alzheimer’s Association and the families impacted by memory loss.
The main event was a meaningful walk around the Hacienda Del Rey community, but there were tons of fun activities for seniors and families to enjoy. There was a petting zoo, pony show, classic car show, a swing & dunk tank, and live music and entertainment by DJ Dave.
Guests were also able to explore booths from community partners, including Home Instead, where our owner, Blair Sapeta, and Business Development Director, Roesemarie C., shared how personalized Alzheimer’s care and respite care can make a lasting difference for families navigating memory challenges.
Home Instead, along with other local partners, contributed a bicycle for the event’s big raffle to support the cause. Every ticket purchased helped fuel research and support through the Alzheimer’s Association.
Together, we can keep walking toward a future without Alzheimer’s and keep showing what it means to deliver the best home care in Litchfield Park, AZ.
