This time of year allows us to connect with our neighbors in a special way through our Be a Santa to a Senior (BASTAS) giving trees. Thanks to our generous community, we've already picked up tons of gifts from our local partners. The response has been outstanding!
A huge shout-out goes to our partners at the C-A-L Ranch Store at 2075 N Pebble Creek Pkwy in Goodyear. We just picked up our second and third loads of gifts from their location! Every tag pulled from that tree represents a local senior who will receive some extra love this Christmas.
How to Join the Fun:
If you haven't had a chance to participate yet, there is still time to help us bring a smile to a senior in need. Here is how you can get involved:
- Head over to the C-A-L Ranch Store, 2075 N Pebble Creek Pkwy, and find the BASTAS tree
- Choose a tag featuring a gift request from a senior in our community
- Pick out the item listed on the tag, like a blanket, puzzle book, or a warm pair of socks
- Return the unwrapped gift to the store with the tag attached so it'll make it to the right place
At Home Instead, we know that the holidays can sometimes be a lonely time for older adults. By partnering with local businesses like C-A-L Ranch, we’re able to make it easy for our giving neighbors to support this important program.
