Role Summary
The Business Development Advisor / Service Coordinator serves as a liaison between the community, referral partners, clients, and internal care teams. This position supports growth through strategic marketing planning, in-person outreach, and digital engagement, while also coordinating client intake, service start-ups, and ongoing care support.
This is not a cold-calling or hard-sales position. Growth is achieved through education, relationship-building, community presence, and trust. Success is measured by the quality of partnerships, engagement, and client experience—not high-pressure or transactional sales activity.
Primary Responsibilities
Community Marketing, Business Development & Social Media
- Learn, apply, and consistently follow Home Instead brand standards across all marketing and outreach efforts
- Develop, manage, and execute a local marketing plan aligned with company goals and brand guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners across the local market
- Conduct in-person outreach, networking, and community engagement activities
- Deliver professional presentations to referral partners, community organizations, and events
- Support social media content creation, posting, and engagement to highlight services, community involvement, events, and brand messaging
- Capture photos, stories, and updates from community activities for approved social media use
- Participate in health fairs, meetings, and community events as scheduled
- Document marketing, outreach, referral activity, and social media efforts in Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Drive growth through relationship-based outreach and education rather than high-pressure sales tactics
Client Care Coordination & Service Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and families during intake and service coordination
- Support care consultations, service start-ups, and ongoing service adjustments
- Communicate client needs, changes, and concerns to internal teams to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with the Client Care Coordinator, scheduling, and operations teams
- Respond to client and family inquiries with compassion, professionalism, and urgency
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and HIPAA standards
Territory & Travel
- Travel locally within Dale, Coffee, Houston, Geneva, and Henry counties
- Represent Home Instead as a trusted community partner and brand ambassador—both in person and online
Qualifications
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills (required)
- Strong computer, documentation, and digital communication skills (required)
- Experience developing or executing marketing plans (preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce, WellSky, or other CRM systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for business or community engagement
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Background in marketing, community outreach, healthcare, social services, hospitality, or relationship-based roles preferred
Schedule
- Full-time with flexible hours
- Local travel, community engagement, and occasional after-hours events required
