HR Manager – Lead, Inspire & Support Our CAREGiver Team
Home Instead – Dothan, AL
Pay: Based on experience
Status: Immediate Opening

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and organized HR Manager to support the hiring, training, and retention of our CAREGiver team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, excellent communication, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of aging adults and the CAREGivers who serve them.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support our CAREGiver workforce

  • Process applications and respond to applicant inquiries

  • Prescreen, schedule, and conduct interviews

  • Complete background checks, reference checks, and MVRs

  • Make CAREGiver hiring decisions

  • Coordinate and conduct CAREGiver Orientation and training

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support throughout employment

  • Maintain CAREGiver retention and recognition programs

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Leadership ability with a coaching mindset

  • Comfortable presenting in one-on-one and small group settings

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Professional, dependable, honest

  • 21+ years old with High School Diploma or GED

  • HR/Office experience preferred but not required
