Chris brings extensive industry experience to his role with Home Instead Senior Care. Over the course of 15 plus years, he served as a nursing home administrator and marketing director, in both local and regional roles. As a Home Care Consultant with Home Instead, he builds relationships with other care professionals, including hospital groups, to ensure that our Clients receive the appropriate services to meet their care needs and desires. Chris graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Mass Communication and minor in Public Relations, and will attain his Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2021. He hopes to incorporate those eastern modalities into his work with seniors. When not meeting with other professionals, Clients or family members, you might find Chris on a golf course or tickling the ivories of a piano. His talents also include being fluent in Spanish – both spoken and written. Chris is a big animal lover and has a very spoiled Dachshund-Chihuahua named Henry.
With a passion for helping others and 14-year career in business operations, sales and marketing, Nhuan brings many skills and talents to his role as Home Care Consultant. As a devoted family man, he assisted family members in starting-up their own businesses that are thriving still today. He is a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) which enables him to understand the unique care needs of our senior Clients and the important role our CAREGivers℠ play in delivering that care. As a natural people-person, Nhuan fills his days with connecting with senior care professionals, potential Clients and their families. He is a Seattle native and University of Washington graduate with BA in Sociology and minor in Labor Studies. In his free time, Nhuan enjoys hiking the Pacific Northwest and participating in competitive volleyball tournaments. He has 3 spoiled pups at home, Finney, Tucker and Beyoncé, and enjoys traveling to sunny beaches anywhere on the globe that have great food.
Ena’s supervisory role after-hours is critically important in fulfilling Home Instead’s commitment of providing Client and CAREGiver support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since 2007, Ena has been devoting some weekday evenings and every weekend to answering phone calls regarding home care services, Client care needs, and even the occasional Client emergency. The support she offers Clients, family members, CAREGivers, and potential Clients is most appreciated. Having served in the United States Navy, keeping everything organized and handling emergencies with finesse comes naturally to Ena. In her free time, Ena enjoys spending time with her husband, her beautiful daughters, and their growing families.
Susana’s kind, warm, gentle demeanor, coupled with strong organizational skills makes her a perfect fit for her role as Staff Coordinator. Susana joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2008 and served as a CAREGiver. She followed the Home Instead Career Pathway which led to her next position as After-Hours Supervisor. She was our first “remote worker” when she worked from her home which happened to be in Texas at the time. Through the wonders of technology and Susana’s familiarity with our Clients and CAREGivers, Susana made this remote position work! Susana is back in the Seattle area now and continues to work remotely making great matches of CAREGivers to Clients on a daily basis. Susana is a lover of and advocate for all living creatures. Her household always includes a few dogs and she has even had pet hens. She is a strong proponent of a vegan lifestyle and could probably point you toward the best vegan restaurants in the Seattle area if asked.
